The Member of Parliament (MP) for Sissala West, Mohammed Sukparu, has rebuked critics of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) labelling the as “witches and wizards” who are failing to recognise the significant progress made under President John Dramani Mahama.
The NDC lawmaker who was speaking on GhOne’s GhToday on Tuesday, 7th April, 2026 praised the president’s leadership style and challenged the main opposition, New Patriotic Party (NPP) to acknowledge the improvements Ghana has witnessed since the NDC returned to power.
“Only a witch or wizard would choose not to appreciate the good work this NDC government is doing,” Sukparu stated.
The MP further argued that the NPP risks losing credibility if it refuses to accept the reality on the ground.
“NPP will be taken seriously if they admit that things have improved,” he said.
The comments come as the Mahama administration continues to roll out key infrastructure and social intervention projects across the country, with the government highlighting achievements in roads, health, education, and economic recovery.
