Head Coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo has disclosed he would love to manage Ghana at the 2022 World Cup.
Otto Addo was appointed as Black Stars Coach on an interim basis for the 2022 World Cup playoff against Nigeria.
Following the successful execution of his task, questions over his future has come under the spotlight with calls from the Presidency suggesting he should be maintained for the World Cup.
The Borussia Dortmund legend has returned to his role as Assistant Coach at the German club but told Takoardi based Empire FM, he would love to coach the Black Stars at the World Cup in Qatar when given the opportunity.
“It’s not my decision, it’s the GFA’s decision. So if they want me and ask me to do it, I would do it” – Addo told Empire Fm.
“It’s the greatest stage in the World, the biggest event for every footballer and no Coach in the World would say no to an opportunity like this.” – he added.
“Surely, I would like to do that, but it’s not my decision. It’s the decision of the GFA.” – Addo concluded.
