About 80 merchants have signed a three-year contract with Ozone express to offer products and services to card holders at a discounted price.
The Ozone express MasterCard is a prepaid card which offers members convenience and control over their spending. Card holders also receive special treats as they form a community of spenders.
“This card is more of an ID and a payment terminal where everything you want to buy as long as whoever it is you are buying it from is a partner, they will sell it to you at the market value. So this card stands out,” explained the CEO of Ozone Ghana Leslie Kwegyir Aggrey.
“Everybody that has this card would see the next person who has it as somebody they can relate with and offer some kind of help,” he added.
Royal Nick Hotel, Millennium Insurance and Aviance Ghana are among the 80 merchants who have signed unto the card.
The introduction of the card is in collaboration with GT Bank who is providing the platform for the issuance of it.
The bank is also offering its online merchandise platform, myghpay to promote the services of the card.
