Adam Sabo Abdul Rahaman, Greater Accra Regional Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), believes politicians who uphold their ethical duties are doing “the work of God” and should find it easier to enter heaven.
Speaking on The Verdict with host Isaac Addae on Starr 103.5 FM on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, Abdul Rahaman said the moral obligations of political leadership are aligned with spiritual service.
“Politicians are meant to stand for the weak, those who cannot speak for themselves. They normally fight for the collective interest… and due to that, I think they’re doing the work of God,” he stated.
He further suggested that ethical politicians might have a smoother path to salvation:
“Those who are not supposed to struggle to go to heaven are the politicians—that is when you follow the ethics very well.”
