The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has issued a reminder to public tertiary institutions and first-year students regarding critical deadlines under the government’s No Fees Stress policy for the 2025/2026 academic year.
In a statement signed by Chief Executive Officer of SLTF, Dr. Saajida Shiraz, on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, the Fund explained that all public tertiary institutions must upload their student admission lists onto the No Fees Stress Portal by March 20, 2026.
First-year students are also required to confirm and validate their admission details on the portal by April 30, 2026 in order to receive academic fee support.
The fund noted that the deadlines represent the final opportunity for institutions to submit student data and for students to validate their details.
“So far, the Students Loan Trust Fund has received admission data for 160,735 students, out of which 134,543 students have validated their admission details on the portal,” the release said.
The SLTF emphasized that full submission and validation of admission data is critical to ensuring that all eligible students benefit from the policy.
The fund urged both institutions and students to strictly adhere to the timelines to ensure smooth implementation of the No Fees Stress initiative.
