Eight people perished in an accident at Ewusiejoe, a farming community near Agona Nkwanta in the Ahanta West District of the Western region Saturday.
The gory accident involves a mini Urvan bus from Takoradi and another Takoradi bound mini bus.
The Stanbic bus loaded with mourners from a funereal in Takoradi is believed to have summersaulted after trying to overtake another mini bus with passengers that had parked on the shoulder of the road resulting in the fatality.
Some of the passengers are in critical condition and are receiving treatment at the Effia Nkwanta Government Hospital.
Supt Richard Appiah, the Western Regional MTTD Commander confirmed the incident to Starr News.
