Great Olympics’ new technical head, Tom Strand, is confident to lift the playing standard of the Premier League side in the remaining matches in the elite competition.
The Swedish was officially appointed on Tuesday to take over from player-coach Godwin Attram who now becomes an assistant to Strand for the rest of the season.
The ‘Agosu’ lads are flirting with relegation after amassing just ten points from ten games with an outstanding game against WA All Stars in the ongoing league; however the former Medeama SC is buoyed to turn Olympics around.
“I don’t know too much of Great Olympics but I now they play well but not scoring and that will be my focus. I hope to survive them in the league by transforming the team”, he told Starr Sports.
Olympics will face Liberty Professionals at the Dansoman Park on Sunday.
