One of the most alluring brands and leading indigenous enterprise, uniBank (Ghana) Limited has been voted as the 6th best performing company in Ghana at the 16th edition of the Ghana Club 100 awards.

The surging financial performance of uniBank in maintaining best practices enabled the bank to maintain an impressive 6th position in the listing of most enterprising companies in Ghana.

Speaking on the theme: “Industrialisation: A tool for job Creation and Accelerated Economic Development”, Mr. Yaw Osarfo Marfo, the Senior Minister indicated that “Once you are in this top 100, you cannot do business as usual, each of you must try and bring improvement in your respective business operations”, while commending elected companies for excelling in their respective disciplines.

The event this year also witnessed Special Awards for outstanding business performers in selected categories, including Corporate Social Responsibility which was won by uniBank.

Dedicating the awards to the shareholders and cherished customers, Felix Dontoh, Head, Marketing and Communications at uniBank, indicated the bank’s resolve to maintain its position as a vital player in the highly competitive industry while being consistently socially responsive.

The Ghana Club 100 (GC 100) is an annual compilation of the top 100 companies in Ghana to give due recognition to successful enterprise building.

The GC 100 is about corporate excellence and companies making it into GC 100 are to serve as role models for the private sector and provide a forum for corporate Ghana to interact with government at a high level.

The event was organised by the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) in Accra.
