Eric Kwasi Danquah, an aspirant in the parliamentary primaries for the Upper West Akyem constituency in the Eastern Region, has voluntarily stepped down.
This move paves the way for the incumbent Member of Parliament, Frederick Obeng Adom, Deputy Minister for Transport, to run unopposed.
Eric Kwasi Danquah made the decision after extensive engagement on Friday, following his clearance by the vetting committee.
Speaking on behalf of Danquah, Alex Kwame Twumasi stated that the withdrawal aims to promote party unity and secure the NPP’s hold on the constituency.

In response, Frank Annor Dompreh boldly asserts he will teach Siaw “a political lesson of his life,” predicting an easy victory in the primaries due to what he claims are weak -matched contenders.
