The Circuit Court in Accra presided over by Her Honour Kwabena Obiri Yeboah has granted bail to the Convener of the Fix The Country Movement, Ralph Afful Williams, and nine others involved in the Democracy Hub protest.

The Court admitted each of them to bail in the sum of GHc20,000 with a surety each.

EIB Network’s Legal Affairs Correspondent, Murtala Inusah reports that the Prosecution led by Nana Akosua Kusi, a State Attorney opposed the bail.

But, the Court granted the request for bail on the grounds that the prosecution failed to comply fully with orders to file disclosures.

They had all pleaded not guilty to six counts of conspiracy, unlawful assembly, causing unlawful damage, offensive conduct conducive to the breach of peace, assault on a public officer, and defacement of public notice.

The other nine are – Razak Suleman, Gerald Delim, Comrade Abubakar Sadeeq, Bilal Mohammed, Ebenezer Ankomanyi Okyere, Norgbedzi Kelvin, Priscilla Tobili, Mohammed Kong Hassan and Tanko Nanong Alias Blacl Pyramid.
