The National Election Security Taskforce wishes to inform all personnel of the security agencies that the special voting, slated for for today, 2nd December 2024, is going to take place as scheduled across the country with the exception of Eastern and Western Regions.
According to the Taskforce, the Electoral Commission, in collaboration with the political parties, has decided to postpone the special voting only for Eastern and Western Regions which will be held at a later date during the week.
“Those who are supposed to vote in the two affected regions will be given the opportunity to cast their votes when a new date is announced by the Electoral Commission”, National Security Taskforce disclosed in a statement.
It further explained that all personnel of all the security agencies are, therefore, directed to come out in their numbers today, 2nd December 2024, to cast their votes.
