The Ministry of Transport has announced that the inaugural Ghana Transport and Logistics Fair will be held from September 22 to 24, 2025, aiming to transform the transport sector and unlock new growth opportunities.

Speaking at the Government Accountability Series in Accra, Transport Minister Joseph Bukari Nikpe explained that the fair will serve as a national platform to showcase the government’s vision under the “Resetting Ghana Agenda” and to highlight collaborative opportunities across the sector.

“The Ghana Transport and Logistics Fair will not only demonstrate the progress we are making as a country but also provide stakeholders the opportunity to share innovations that can make our system safer, cleaner, and more efficient,” Mr. Nikpe stated.

The three-day event will bring together government agencies, private operators, international partners, and civil society organizations.

It will cover road, rail, aviation, maritime transport, as well as logistics and supply chain management, creating a space to discuss solutions to Ghana’s transport challenges.

Exhibitions will feature transport operators, vehicle assemblers, spare parts dealers, digital service providers, and logistics companies, while technical sessions and panel discussions will focus on technologies such as electric mobility, digital ticketing, and modern freight systems.

Mr. Nikpe emphasized that the fair is expected to attract both local and international investors, providing opportunities to explore Ghana’s expanding transport and logistics sector.

“We are determined to make this fair an annual event that drives investment, innovation, and job creation,” he stressed.

He added that the fair will connect industry players with policymakers and encourage partnerships that improve public transport, reduce costs, and promote sustainable practices.

Stakeholders were urged to participate actively, as the event is intended to become a permanent feature on Ghana’s transport calendar and a reference point for best practices in the sub-region.
