Fourteen construction workers were rescued after a three-storey building under construction at Roman Ridge in Accra suddenly collapsed.
All the victims, who are male, have been taken to 37 Military Hospital and Ridge Hospital for treatment.
The incident occurred at the Roman Ridge Engineering Center, situated between a 10-storey apartment building and the Ghana Institute of Engineering on Tuesday, October 28.
Eyewitnesses reported that the structure gave way while work was ongoing, leaving several workers trapped under the debris.
According to reports, the workers sustained varying degrees of injuries, but all are responding to medical care.
No deaths have been confirmed at the time of reporting.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collapse to determine the factors that led to the structural failure.
