The Western Gospel Awards has honoured renowned media personality Enoch Asare, popularly known as Feeling Daddy, with the Leadership in Media Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Ghana’s media industry.
The award forms part of activities marking the fifth anniversary of the Western Gospel Awards and celebrates Feeling Daddy’s remarkable leadership, professional excellence and long-standing impact on the media landscape.
Feeling Daddy currently serves as the Business Manager of Starr FM, a subsidiary of EIB Network in Accra. He has previously worked with Empire FM and Radio 360 (also under EIB Network), where he played key roles that helped shape both regional and national media spaces. According to the organisers, his strategic insight and passion for broadcasting have earned him widespread respect across the industry.
Beyond his managerial roles, the Western Gospel Awards highlighted Feeling Daddy’s consistent support for the creative arts, particularly talents emerging from Ghana’s Western Region. Through mentorship, opportunities and sustained encouragement, he has contributed significantly to the growth of young creatives, broadcasters and artistes, helping many establish themselves within the industry.

The organisers noted that his commitment to talent development and his dedication to building a thriving creative community were central to the decision to honour him.
“For his visionary leadership, passion for talent development and deep-rooted commitment to the growth of the creative community, we proudly present Feeling Daddy with the Leadership in Media Award,” the citation stated.
The recognition adds to Feeling Daddy’s reputation as one of the influential figures driving growth and professionalism within Ghana’s media industry.
