President John Dramani Mahama will embark on a five-day working visit to South Korea from Tuesday March 10 to Saturday, March 14, 2026.
This was according to a statement from the Presidency, signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Spokesperson to the President and Minister for Government Communications.
The President is expected to depart Accra on Sunday for the visit, which will include high-level bilateral engagements and economic activities aimed at strengthening relations between Ghana and South Korea.
During the visit, President Mahama will hold talks with Lee Jae-myung. He will also meet the Speaker of the Korean National Assembly, Woo Won-shik.
As part of his itinerary, the Ghanaian leader will attend a ship-naming ceremony at the Hyundai Heavy Industries shipyard in Ulsan. He will also deliver a speech at a conferment ceremony at Yonsei University.
Other activities scheduled for the visit include an engagement with Ghanaians living, studying and working in South Korea, as well as a dinner meeting with chief executives and business leaders.
The visit is expected to deepen bilateral cooperation and explore opportunities for trade and investment between Ghana and South Korea.
