GCB Bank PLC has supported the Zenu KKMA 1&3 Primary School in Ashaiman with an infrastructure upgrade aimed at improving the learning environment for pupils.
The initiative was undertaken by the Bank’s Staff Community Impact Project (SCIP), through its SOEs & Afro-Asia Banking Department.
The project focused on the rehabilitation and improvement of key areas of the school’s six-classroom block, transforming the facility into a cleaner, safer and more conducive environment for teaching and learning.
In addition to the infrastructure works, the SOEs & Afro-Asia Banking Department provided 100 dual desks to improve classroom furniture for pupils.
The initiative forms part of GCB Bank’s commitment to giving back to communities and contributing to education and community development.
Through SCIP, staff across the Bank are encouraged to identify and support projects that address practical needs in communities across Ghana.
The SOEs & Afro-Asia Banking Department said it was proud to have contributed to creating a better learning environment for the children of Zenu.
