Suspended General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Kwabena Agyepong, was on Sunday spotted at the thanksgiving ceremony of President Akufo-Addo at Kyebi in the Eastern region.
The Okyenhene and the Akyem Abuakwa traditional council held the ceremony in honour of the President, who hails from the town.
It is not clear if Mr Agyepong, who was suspended from the party in 2015, was invited for the service.
The National Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Dr. Opoku Onyinah, who delivered the sermon urged the President to appoint selfless people in his government.
He called on politicians to refrain from greed, extreme love for money and properties, when in power.
The ceremony was attended by vice President Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife Samira Bawumia, Former President John Kufuor, Speaker of Parliament Professor Mike Oquaye, parliamentarians and members of the diplomatic corps as well as the clergy.
