The former Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South Constituency, Hon. Samuel Atta Akyea, has casted his vote in Kibi M/A Experimental Basic School this morning.
In an interview with the media after he cast his vote, he expressed optimism that the Presidential Primaries will mark the begining of unity in the party hence he entreated all candidates to embrace the outcomes of the elections in an event that their candidate didn’t win.

The former lawmaker lauded the Security Service Personnel presence for ensuring a peaceful process so far.

He added that the NDC since assumption of office has not lived up to expectation, citing that it has failed to implement the 24 hour economy policy, and has also not shown any willingness in the fight against the galamsey menace since GoldBoard is benefiting from the galamsey activities.
