Voting is ongoing in the Talensi Constituency as part of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential primary to select its flagbearer for the 2028 general elections.
A total of 569 delegates are expected to cast their votes at the constituency’s designated polling centre. The exercise commenced at 7:00 a.m., and by 10:33 a.m., 190 delegates had already voted.

EIB Election Hub reports that the process is proceeding peacefully and in an organized manner at the community centre, with security personnel present to ensure order throughout the exercise.
The Talensi vote forms part of the nationwide primary, with results to be collated and announced after all constituencies have completed their voting.
