Entertainment executive BullGod has weighed in on growing concerns within the creative industry regarding Baba Sadiq’s current standing following his pivotal role in the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) victory in the 2024 general elections.
Speaking on Starr Showbiz with host Feeling Daddy on Starr 103.5 FM, BullGod made it clear that Sadiq’s political or professional future is not in jeopardy and criticized those overly focused on titles.
“Sadiq is my brother, right? We talk on a daily basis. I’m sure if it was about a position, he might have gotten that already,” BullGod stated. “Right now, I think his focus is on his parliamentary seat. He’s in court with his opponent, so I’m sure his focus is there.”
He further emphasized that being aligned with a government in power opens doors beyond official appointments.
“I mean he’s with us, and once you’re with us, there’s nothing that you can’t achieve or do. It’s not about being in position – the most important thing is that we worked and the government is in power. Once the government is in power, everything that you require, you will get.”
BullGod dismissed criticisms and suggestions that Baba Sadiq has been sidelined, highlighting the numerous opportunities available within the creative space.
“There are too many agencies – just in our little creative industry, about 13. So if he wants any of them, he can take it. Or he can get a position. Or he can do his business or continue his entertainment exploits – the enabling environment is there.”
He also praised President John Mahama for being appreciative of the contributions made by industry stakeholders.

“One of the things you need to commend His Excellency John Mahama for is that he recognizes all our efforts. Our people are all in position – from Abeiku to the KODs to the Rex.”
BullGod concluded with a word of caution to critics: “We are too concerned with positions. That is why a lot of people are talking gibberish.”
