Flagbearer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has urged the people of the Adaklu constituency to support his candidacy in the upcoming December polls, touting the development projects his administration has brought to the area. During a meeting with traditional rulers, clergy, and other stakeholders, Dr. Bawumia emphasized that the Adaklu constituency has seen more growth under the NPP than under the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), which governed for 16 years.
Enumerating the projects undertaken by the NPP in the area, Dr. Bawumia highlighted the provision of portable drinking water, the construction of a youth resource center, and the establishment of a stadium. Additionally, he pointed out the creation of a district police command in Wai’a and the construction of a magistrate court with an accompanying bungalow.
“We are building an Agenda 111 hospital right here in Adaklu,” Bawumia added, stressing the NPP’s commitment to healthcare infrastructure development.
He criticized the opposition NDC for its perceived lack of development initiatives in the constituency, particularly in road construction, noting, “When the NDC was in government for 16 years, they didn’t build a road for you.”
Dr. Bawumia concluded by expressing his confidence in the NPP’s ability to foster further economic development in Adaklu, encouraging voters to choose continuity in governance for a better future.
