Ghana’s Black Satellites team have departed Ghana for Egypt to take part in the 2025 Under-20 African Cup of Nations.
The Satellites who have been in camp for the last month were visited by GFA President Kurt Okraku before their departure.
The team, managed by Coach Desmond Offei, is in Group C with Central African Republic, DR Congo, and Senegal.
The U20 AFCON will begin on the 27th of April when host nation, Egypt face South Africa.
The Satellites will play their first game on May 2nd against DR Congo before meeting Senegal 3 days later. Their final group game against Central African will be on the 8th of May.
A semifinal berth will automatically qualify Ghana for this year’s U20 World Cup in Chile.
