Ghanaian artist Black Sherif has earned a spot in the 2025 edition of the Black Entertainment Television Awards.
The ’45 ‘ hit maker has been nominated in the Best International Act category.
He is contesting artists such as Tyla (South Africa), Rema (Nigeria), Any Gabrielly (Brazil), Ayra Starr (Nigeria), Basky (UK), Uncle Waffles (Swaziland), Ezra Collective (UK), Joé Dwèt Filé (France), MC, Luanna (Brazil), and SDM (France).
Over the years, Ghanaian artists like Kojo Antwi, D Black, Sarkodie, R2Bees, Stonebwoy, Fuse ODG, Kwesi Arthur, MzVee and Camidoh have been nominated in the award scheme.
Although it was his debut at the BET Awards, Black Sherif got a BET Hip Hop Award nomination in 2023.
In the meantime, his new album ‘Iron Boy’ is gaining a lot of traction, topping various music charts.
