Mrs. Christiana Agyapong Antwi, wife of Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong and Patron of the Ladies for Ken Women’s Wing, has once again demonstrated her unwavering compassion and commitment to the New Patriotic Party’s grassroots by visiting an injured NPP delegate currently receiving treatment at the 37 Military Hospital.

The affected party member, a constituency secretary from Zion Oak in the Kpone Katamanso Constituency, sustained injuries during a recent incident that drew the attention of the Ladies for Ken Women’s Wing. Upon receiving the news, Mrs. Agyapong immediately mobilized and led a delegation of women to the hospital to express solidarity and offer comfort.

True to her character as a woman of both action and empathy, she arrived not only with words of encouragement but also with essential supplies and financial support for the delegate and the hospital. Her donations included; 100 packs of bottled water, toilet rolls and hygiene supplies, and a cash envelope to support the patient’s recovery.

Speaking at the hospital, Mrs. Agyapong shared heartfelt sentiments:

“I was heartbroken when I heard the news. As a woman and a mother, I felt the need to be there, not just with items, but with presence and care. This is who we are. We lift each other.”

Her compassionate visit left a profound impact on the hospital staff and patients. A senior representative of the 37 Military Hospital expressed appreciation on behalf of Commander Brigadier General Evelyn and the entire medical team, describing the gesture as “a timely expression of true leadership and humanity.”

Mrs. Agyapong’s presence and support further highlight her growing influence as a figure of unity, empathy, and quiet strength within the party. Whether rallying women, supporting vulnerable party members, or showing up in critical moments, she continues to personify the values of service, compassion, and community.
Hon. Ken Agyapong is also expected to visit the injured delegate personally, further underscoring the couple’s shared commitment to the welfare of party members at every level.
