Dr. (MH) Williams Anarfi Sarpong, founder and Executive Director of the WASK Group of Companies, has been recognised among Africa’s 40 Under 40 Chief Executive Officers. He was also bestowed with the prestigious title of Most Iconic Personality of the Year 2025.

The awards ceremony, organised by the Mayorkings Agency Group, took place at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg. The event brought together leading business figures, government officials, investors, and young entrepreneurs from across Africa.

Dr. Anarfi’s achievements were further honoured internationally when Prowess University in Delaware, USA, awarded him an Honorary Doctorate in Humanities. This accolade recognises his outstanding contributions to healthcare innovation, youth empowerment, humanitarian service, and enterprise development on the continent.

Under Dr. Anarfi’s leadership, the WASK Group has become a leading Pan-African conglomerate with diversified interests including health services, technology, wellness, environmental management, luxury hospitality, and business consulting.

One of the Group’s flagship ventures, Spintex Medical Center in Ghana, stands out as a hybrid medical and wellness facility that combines conventional medicine with advanced wellness and natural therapies.

Beyond business, Dr. Anarfi has spearheaded scalable economic empowerment initiatives across West and Southern Africa, notably through Prife International Africa, which focuses on wealth creation and digital commerce.

Over the past decade, Dr. Anarfi has directly impacted the lives of more than 60,000 African youth through programs in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and digital trade.

His humanitarian efforts also extend to supporting vulnerable groups such as street children and widows through food aid, education, and livelihood projects. Initiatives like the Connect to Wealth Global Initiative and the WASK Family Foundation Project reflect his commitment to marrying enterprise with social progress.

At the award ceremony, Dr. Anarfi remarked:“This honour is not just a celebration of personal milestones. It reminds us that leadership carries the responsibility to serve, build sustainable systems, and empower others to reach their potential. I dedicate this recognition to God, my mother, my WASK Group team, Spintex Medical Center, and every young African who dares to dream beyond limitations.”

Dr. Williams Anarfi Sarpong holds several honorary degrees, including Doctor of Philosophy in Health Information Management and Doctor of Business Administration. His leadership has positioned WASK Group as one of West Africa’s fastest-growing multi-sector companies.

Looking ahead, Dr. Anarfi announced plans for continental expansion with strategic projects in South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Morocco, Ghana, and selected Middle Eastern markets. These will focus on healthcare development, youth enterprise platforms, wellness infrastructure, and digital trade enhancement.
