The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Driver Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), Julius Neequaye Kotey, has told his perceived detractors to reconsider their attempts at painting him black since he can’t be cajoled into silence with vile propaganda.
Kotey in an interview on Starr FM’s Morning Show, Morning Starr, on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 said he cannot be silenced by vile propaganda since he is focused on leaving lasting legacies at the state institution.
“I don’t know where it is coming from, maybe its propaganda just to tame me, but you know I can’t be tamed by this. I am in high spirit and my spirit cannot be tamed by propaganda…,” he said.
According to him, the media war being waged against him is borne out of possible attempts to derail his efforts at leaving great legacies at the DVLA and also blocking several loopholes at the institution which people exploited to make monies at the expense of the state.
“You see a young guy of 38 years, you’ve come to block loopholes at the ports, you’ve blocked loopholes at your station. Monies that go into people’s pockets, now goes into Ghana’s account. You think I will take it easy? Spiritually, physically and through some conspiracy, you think it will be easy for me…?” he queried.
