As voting concludes in various parts of Ghana, sorting and counting of ballots have commenced in several constituencies.
At the DA Forecourt B in the Shama Constituency, sorting is currently underway as officials begin tallying the votes.
Also, at the Labor Office polling station in Axim, with an expected 206 votes, 131 ballots were cast, and voting has ended successfully.
Meanwhile, at the Post Office in Manso Amenfi, Amenfi Central, voting also wrapped up without incident.
In the Kwesimintsim Constituency, ballot box unsealing and sorting are in progress at the Pentecost Preparatory School Asaakae 1 and 2, as well as at the same school in the Asaakae area. Voting also concluded successfully at the Kokoase Pentecost polling center despite a temporary power outage.
At the Effia Roman polling station, voting is nearly complete, and sorting is set to begin shortly. In the Mpohor district, sorting is underway at Wanawanaso A, while counting has already started at the Labor Office polling station in Axim and the Esiama Post Office polling station in the Ellembelle Constituency.
In the Takoradi Constituency, voting has ended at the Presby Primary polling station, with counting now taking place at the Pentecost polling center 2 in Pretsea Huni Valley. Similarly, sorting is ongoing at the Needs-Shido Square in Half Assini.
As the election progresses, all eyes are on these crucial stations where counting is already underway. The results will determine the next steps for officials and political observers as they await the final tallies.
