EMY Africa Awards comes off June 24

The second edition of the prestigious Exclusive Men of the Year Africa Awards (EMY AFRICA AWARDS) presented by Land Rover and uniBank will come off on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel.

The event which recognizes and celebrates great achievements by distinguished men will see musical performances from Music Legends Meiway and the original Osibisa Band and the delectable Efya and Irene Logan, The Patch Bay Band and Tema Youth Choir.

The executive director of the EMY Africa Awards, Kojo Soboh told KOD on The Zone that this year’s edition of the EMYs themed “The role of responsible men in shaping society and building flourishing economy” is aimed at shaping the society by recognizing the role fathers or men play in the family and the society as a whole. He added that this year’s edition of the EMYs Awards will also award distinguished personalities outside Ghana.

“We believe that the family is the incubator of the society so if a man is leaving up to his role as a responsible man the society benefits as whole”.
