Renowned relationship coach, Prophet El-Mikel, has made a stirring controversy with his views on love and financial support.
“The evidence of love is to give, not just words,” Prophet El-Mikel emphasized. “If a man says he loves you and doesn’t provide financial support, it’s a lie”, he indicated on GHOneTV‘s popular program “Duvet”.
He cited biblical examples, referencing God’s sacrifice of Jesus as evidence of His love. “Even God gave His only begotten son to show His love,” Prophet El-Mikel said.
The relationship coach also pointed to societal norms, noting that men are expected to be providers. “God created women to receive, and men to provide,” he stated. “That’s why when God cursed the man, He said we would sweat and bring the money on the table.”
“Men should stop complaining that women love money,” Prophet El-Mikel added. “That’s how God created them. Men should give them money, make more money, and not apologize without showing financial commitment.”
