The final report of the Constitutional Review Committee will be submitted to President John Dramani Mahama on December 22, 2025, marking a key milestone in Ghana’s ongoing constitutional reform process.
This was announced by President John Dramani Mahama om Wednesda, December, 10. 2025 during a meeting with the National Peace Council at the Presidency.
The Committee, chaired by Professor H. Kwesi Prempah, has spent months engaging Ghanaians to collect views on potential amendments to the constitution.
President Mahama noted that the Committee had already shared some preliminary findings with him three weeks ago.
“They met me three weeks ago and shared some of the findings they were considering. The insights were quite interesting. The final report will be presented on December 22, and once received, we will share it with the entire nation,” he said.
The upcoming report is expected to offer a comprehensive summary of public opinion and expert recommendations, providing a framework for potential constitutional reforms.
