The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the closure of the Premium Passport Application Centres in Accra and Kumasi, effective February 20, 2026.
Clients with pending applications at these centres are advised to visit their respective Regional Passport Application Centres to complete processing.
In a statement on Monday, February 23, 2026, the Ministry assured the public of its commitment to delivering quality services and urged applicants needing assistance to contact the Passport Office Client Service Unit on 0302-754-200 or via email at ipab@mfa.gov.gh.
The Ministry encouraged all affected applicants to act promptly to avoid delays in obtaining their passports.
