The Ghana Football Association (GFA), in partnership with the National Lottery Authority (NLA) and Rambell Entertainment Limited, has officially unveiled the “World Cup Bonanza”, a nationwide initiative aimed at rewarding football fans and giving Ghanaians the chance to cheer on the Black Stars live at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The grand launch took place on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the GFA Secretariat’s conference room in Accra, drawing media representatives, football stakeholders, entertainment personalities and enthusiastic supporters eager to learn about the life-changing opportunity.

Speaking at the event, the president of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Edwin-Simeon Okraku, encouraged Ghanaians to actively take part in the campaign, highlighting that it offers more than just the chance to travel to the World Cup.

“Your business connection may come from the World Cup. you never know,” Okraku said. “This is more than a game of luck; it’s a chance to connect, explore, and experience something transformative.”

He also called on fans to spread the word among friends and family, creating nationwide excitement ahead of the tournament.

Kurt Okraku further noted that the partnership is also a way to strengthen the bond between the national team and its supporters as Ghana prepares for another World Cup appearance.

“This is the second time after we failed to qualify in 2018, and we are back to where we belong in world football.

“Having made it through the hard work of the technical team and the playing body, we at the GFA want to think about the entire country.

“And for that reason, we cannot go alone and leave the fans behind. In partnership with Rambell and NLA, we have the opportunity to go to the World Cup with the fans.”

The Director-General of the NLA, Mr. Mohammed Abdul-Salam, assured the public of a fair and credible draw, emphasizing the Authority’s dedication to transparency.

“The NLA will ensure a credible process in which only genuine winners will be rewarded with the opportunity to travel and support the Black Stars at the 2026 FIFA World Cup,” he stated.

Mohammed Abdul Salam added that they are “committed to providing transparency, and we are in to ensure whatever to say, we deliver. We believe that Ghanaians who will participate in this game will provide the needed transparency.”

“We pray and ask Ghanaians to take part in this raffle. You can count on NLA to ensure there is transparency in this raffle.”

Representing Rambell’s Board Chairman, Rockson Kondey outlined how the raffle will work, revealing that 220 fans will be selected to attend the tournament.

“Today marks a historic moment for our game. We believe that every Ghanaian deserves a chance to participate, win and watch the World Cup.

“With just GHC20, every Ghanaian can win, and with NLA and the Ghana Football Association involved, everyone can win. Rambell intends to fly 220 fans to the World Cup.” He stated.

Through this partnership, 220 lucky Ghanaians will win an all-expenses-paid trip to North America to witness football’s biggest event.
To enter, fans simply need to dial 899899# and pay GHC 20 for a chance to win.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup which will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Ghana qualified to the mundial after topping Group I with 25 points, remaining unbeaten in the qualifiers. The Black Stars will discover their group-stage opponents on December 5.
