President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku has emphasize that more needs to be done to ensure these pitches and facilities remain in top condition across the country.
In an exclusive interview with Monica Bukari, Mr. Okraku highlighted the notable improvements in the quality of stadia and pitches, praising the club licensing committee and department for leading the charge towards excellence in football infrastructure.

“I think that Our stadia has improved a lot, our pitches have improved a lot, club licensing committee, club licensing department have been at the forefront of the push for excellence. There’s the need for investment and maintenance of our stadia” .
Meanwhile, Okraku who serves as the 2nd Vice President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), emphasized the need for continued investment and proper maintenance.
“What’s also true is that we need to improve on our culture of maintenance of our stadia across the country. I’d be happy on how far we have come but I think that there’s a lot more that has to be done” told GHOne TV.
