Ghana National Gas Company has completed its scheduled plant maintenance exercise ahead of the projected timeline, restoring operations earlier than planned.
The facility, which was shut down on August 16 for critical works expected to last 14 days, was reopened on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, after engineers and technicians wrapped up the process successfully.
The company, in a statement signed by the Head, Corporate Affairs, Richard Ernest KIRK-MENSAH, described the early completion as a major achievement, highlighting the efficiency and dedication of its maintenance team.
Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Judith Adjobah Blay, lauded the staff for their commitment and teamwork, noting that their effort ensured the project was executed without delays.
With the exercise concluded, the plant is set to stabilize and deliver its expected gas volumes within the next few hours.
