Ghana have made an upward movement in the latest FIFA ranking for the first time in a long while.
The Black Stars now occupy the 76th position in the global ranking, having been in the 77th position from November 2024.
The improved ranking follows Ghana’s winning start to the 2025 calendar during the last international break.
Ghana defeated both Chad and Madagascar in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, recording their first wins since the victory over the Central African Republic in June.
Ghana still sit 14th on the African rankings.
Otto Addo’s team are set to the on Nigeria in an international friendly tournament in the next FIFA international break.
