The Ghana Police Service has dismissed reports circulating on social media about an alleged ongoing recruitment exercise.
In a statement dated Monday, June 23, the Police clarified that no new recruitment has been announced and categorically described the information as false.
“The Police Administration wishes to categorically state that this information is false. The Service has not announced any new recruitment exercise. Any recruitment exercise will be duly advertised through the official communication channels of the Service, including the official website, verified social media platforms, and in the national dailies,” the statement emphasized.
The Police urged the public to disregard such fraudulent claims and warned against dealing with individuals or groups offering recruitment opportunities in exchange for money.

They further assured that it is investigating the matter and that anyone found involved in such illegal schemes will be arrested and prosecuted.
The public is encouraged to report any persons or groups engaged in these fraudulent activities to the nearest police station.
