A member of the Alliance for Revolutionary Change, Dr. Susan Adu Amankwah has called for a revolutionary change in government to eliminate the two main political parties in Ghana.
Speaking on GHOne TV, she voiced her concerns about the current political status, expressing frustration with both major political parties in Ghana, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Dr. Adu Amankwah emphasized that the need for change is not just about rejecting the two main parties but about creating a new political identity for the country.
“I think that we just want to have a breath of fresh air and a difference. It’s not just about voting for Mr. Kyeremanten. It’s about voting for ourselves. We are capable of moving in a different direction,” she said while routing for the flagbearer for Movement for Change.
She further emphasized that Ghanaians should dump two top political parties because there is nothing more, they can offer the country.
“I think this is what Ghanaians should do. We should definitely ditch the two. Let them go and think about how they can change themselves to do better”, she said adding that “They’ve done what they can do.”
Dr. Adu Amankwah also urged Ghanaians to have the courage to embrace change, no matter how risky it may seem. “Nothing risked, nothing gained. We need to take that leap of faith to halt the country’s decline,” she said.
