Afigya Kwabre South MP, Damata Ama Appianimaa Salam, has praised the Black Stars for their dominant 3-0 victory over Madagascar in Monday night’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Morocco.
Ghana’s triumph solidified their lead in Group I with 15 points. The team’s commanding performance, highlighted by Jordan Ayew’s three assists, demonstrated their attacking strength.
Addressing Parliament on Tuesday, Salam praised the team’s resilience and tactical discipline, emphasizing that their performances have rekindled national pride.
“Mr. Speaker, this victory is a testament to the team’s resilience, skills, and unwavering determination to make Ghana proud on the international stage.
“The Black Stars have once again demonstrated the spirit of excellence that defines Ghanaian football.
“Their hard work, tactical discipline, and teamwork have brought glory to our nation, and we rekindled the hopes of millions of Ghanaians who passionately support them.”
As their qualification campaign gathers momentum, the Black Stars have reignited Ghanaians’ hopes of securing a spot at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
