Senior Pastor of Hill Chapel, Reverend Kwadwo Bempah, has recalled how he declared John Dramani Mahama as Ghana’s next president long before his 2024 election victory – a prophecy he says was fulfilled before his very eyes.
Speaking on Starr Chat with Bola Ray on Thursday, October 16, 2025, Rev. Bempah recounted that the declaration happened unexpectedly during a Bible school graduation ceremony where the former president was in attendance.
“John Mahama was sitting right behind me when I said it. I was in a Bible school and they were doing a graduation, and I was supposed to receive an offering. So when I came, I said, ‘Let’s wish the next president a happy birthday,’ and that was my declaration,” he recalled.
He explained that the prophecy was not premeditated or rehearsed but came to him in the moment.
“He was sitting behind me. Immediately after that, I left. I couldn’t wait to close because I had a meeting. But then it came to pass,” he added with a smile.
