Black Queens winger, Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah, has expressed her ambition to make a lasting impact during her time with the women’s national team.
The England-born Ghanaian is set to don the national colours as she represents Ghana at next month’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
After appearing in several friendly matches for the Black Queens, Boye-Hlorkah is now eager to make her competitive debut for the West African side.
“For me, straight away, my first thought was obviously to represent and to make Ghana be spoke about in a very, very good light in women’s football,” she told the Ghana FA media on Monday, June 23, 2025.
“So personally, my goals and aspirations for that are to represent and win as many games as we can. But also to hopefully become a legend for the Ghana Women.” She added.
Further revealing that she wants to be someone that people can look up to. “The young generation can see my route through European football and they can also see that as well as representing Ghana at the national level.” She said.
The Black Queens have been placed in a challenging Group C at the tournament, where they will go up against South Africa, Tanzania, and Mali.
