Prime Minister of India, H.E. Narendra Modi, will undertake a two-day official visit to Ghana from Wednesday, July 2 to Thursday, July 3, 2025.
The visit is expected to deepen the longstanding relations between Ghana and India while advancing both countries’ strategic partnership. Key areas of cooperation include trade, investment, agriculture, technology, education, healthcare, and energy.
According to a statement issued by the Spokesperson to the President and Minister for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Prime Minister Modi will engage in bilateral talks with President John Dramani Mahama at the Jubilee House.
“The two leaders will engage in discussions aimed at deepening cooperation across various sectors… They will also exchange views on regional and global issues of mutual interest,” the statement noted.

A number of bilateral agreements are expected to be signed during the visit, aimed at consolidating cooperation frameworks between the two nations. The visit will also feature a joint press conference addressed by President Mahama and Prime Minister Modi.
President Mahama will host a State Dinner in honour of the Indian leader and his delegation.
The visit is anticipated to further strengthen bilateral ties, boost economic collaboration, and reinforce the historic bonds of friendship between the peoples of Ghana and India.
