Attorney General (AG) Dr. Dominic Ayine has announced that the investigation into the National Service ghost-names scandal is nearing its conclusion, with charges expected to be filed against some of the persons involved from the first week of May.
According to Dr. Ayine, the investigation has progressed well, and his office is preparing to prosecute those found culpable.
This development comes as part of a broader effort to address corruption and malfeasance in state institutions.
Dr. Ayine also revealed that other high-profile cases, including the National Cathedral, Mathematical Sets, and Senior High School WIFI scandals, are nearing completion.
Dockets are being prepared for prosecutions to begin, signaling the government’s commitment to holding accountable those responsible for alleged wrongdoing.
The Attorney General’s office is expected to provide further details on the cases and the investigation’s findings in the coming days.
