Ghanaian sound engineer and record producer, David Kojo Kyei, popularly known in showbiz circles as Kaywa has been ordained a minister of the gospel following the conferring on him with a Doctor of Divinity certificate from the United Apostolic Theology Seminary.
The CEO of Highly Spiritual Music was also given a clergy ministerial license Certificate as a presbyter as well as a certificate of Episcopal ordination.
Kaywa is known to be a proponent of the gospel of Christ and became popular in the regard after the death of dancehall musician Ebony, which he had prophesied weeks before.
The award winning music producer took to his Instagram page to make the announcement with pictures of the certificates with the caption “Totally grateful to God…psalm 127:1 #hemadeaway #thankyougodforeverything #jesuschrist”.
Kaywa won the VGMA Sound Engineer of the year in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2016 and has produced some of Ghana’s biggest hits.
Highly Spiritual Music owned by Kaywa houses Kurl Songx, Rashelle Blue, Mr. Drew, Yaw Berk, Krymi and King Maaga most of whom are products from MTN Hitmaker series.
