All is set for the Keta Senior High School (KETASCO) 1996 year group, known as Dzolali ’96, to host a grand homecoming celebration marking 30 years since completing secondary school.
The three-day event is scheduled to take place from July 3 to July 5, 2026, at the KETASCO campus in Keta in the Volta Region and is expected to bring together old students from Ghana and abroad to celebrate friendship, impact and shared experiences over the past three decades.
Organisers say the reunion will provide an opportunity for members of the year group to reconnect, relive cherished memories and strengthen long-standing bonds formed during their time in school.
The celebration will be held under the theme, “30 Years of Impact; Honouring Our Legacy, Shaping the Future Through Innovation.”
Activities lined up for the event include a convoy departure from Accra to Keta on Friday, July 3, followed by a welcome cocktail reception upon arrival. The first day will also feature interactions with current students and a night of music at the school premises.
A major highlight of the celebration on Saturday will be the commissioning and handing over of a newly constructed 12-seater ultra-modern washroom facility for the girls’ dormitory. The day will also feature an anniversary durbar, lunch with invited guests, a dance dinner and other social activities.
The homecoming celebration will conclude on Sunday with a thanksgiving service in appreciation of God’s protection and guidance throughout the years and during the reunion activities.
Organisers have called on all members of Dzolali ’96, both in Ghana and abroad, to participate in the celebration while contributing toward improving learning conditions and student welfare in the school.
According to the organisers, the reunion promises moments of reflection, joy and celebration as the year group commemorates 30 years of growth, achievement and impact.
