The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has permanently barred five former students from entering its campus following concerns over their continued disruptive activities.
In a statement released on March 13, 2026, the university explained that the individuals, who were dismissed in 2025, had repeatedly returned to campus, interfering with academic and administrative operations.

The students affected by the ban are Bernard Boadi, Francis Tutu Atuahene, John Kelvin Kane, Roland Botwe Nsiah, and Felix Acquah.

“The University therefore wishes to inform the public, particularly members of the University community, that these persons are prohibited from entering or remaining on the KNUST campus,” the statement read.
KNUST said the measure was necessary to ensure safety, discipline, and the smooth conduct of institutional activities.

The management also warned the individuals to comply with the directive, noting that “any attempt to enter the campus would attract legal action.”
The statement was issued by the Deputy Registrar of the University Relations Office, Daniel Norris Bekoe, on behalf of the Registrar.
KNUST affirmed its commitment to enforcing regulations and maintaining a safe environment for teaching, learning, research, and community engagement.
