Minister of Sports and Recreation, Kofi Iddie Adams has commended EIB Network for focusing and shedding light on lesser known sports like Armwrestling.
The event, was organized to commemorate Ghana’s Independence and celebrate Ghana Month, brought together some of the strongest athletes in the region for an intense battle of strength, skill, and resilience.
Speaking at the Independence Armwrestling Challenge on Saturday, the MP for Buem constituency stated that GHOne Tv has proven that they are a media platform that deserves the support of the sports ministry
“For me, as a minister for sports and Recreation, what you have done for a sport that somebody will think is a less of I know sports has shown that you have a desire to nurture the young to grow. And we will back you all out We will bike you all out. You have proven that you are a media platform that deserves our support”.
“And whatever you seek, we will give you that support. And we continue to give it to”.
Ghana showcased its dominance in the competition, securing a total of nine medals, including three gold, two silver, and four bronze.
