Member of Parliament for Evalue Ajomoro Gwira, Kofi Arko Nokoe, has announced the delivery of 150 solar-powered streetlights for the Axim–Ayisakro–Dadwen–Kegyina Highway.

In a Facebook post on Sunday, November 1, the MP said the streetlights had been delivered ahead of their installation along the highway, as part of efforts to improve nighttime visibility and enhance road safety.

He explained that the installation of the lights would help make the highway safer for motorists, pedestrians and residents of communities along the route.

Mr Nokoe expressed optimism that the intervention would improve visibility after dark and reduce the risks associated with travelling along the stretch at night.
