Kumasi: Dolphin Microfinance opens second branch

Dolphin Microfinance Services Limited has opened for business, its second branch in Kumasi in the Ashanti region.

According to its Chief Executive Officer, Josephine Osah, the opening is timely and strategic, because individuals, who urgently need cash to expand their businesses, can always fall on them.

Headquartered in Tema in the Greater Accra region, Dolphin Microfinance has been legally operating in the last six years and providing tailor-made financial services in less than 24 hours to its numerous clients.

“Our reason for coming to Kumasi is very simple. For every business, you don’t have to be at one particular place, you have to spread your wings and we think that Kumasi is a very business-like area to come and help people as well.

“We are duly registered as a microfinance company by the Bank of Ghana. The name microfinance is for you to accept deposits and lend as well but because we are in Tema, our target group is more of the importers and exporters; so we are more into lending.”

Osah added: “Dolphin Microfinance gives fast loans, we are real and we will not lie to you. If you need a loan and the documents are not okay, we will just let you know that you are due for the loan. We will not toss you”.

She hinted to Ultimate Business that Dolphin Microfinance Services Limited had plans to extend its branches to Takoradi and Tamale by close of the year.
