The Law House Complex, a proposed new office accommodation for the Office of Attorney-General and Ministry of Justice would be completed and commissioned by the end of December 2023.

The latest timelines on the completion of the 12-storey edifice consisting of 10 floors above ground and two storeys underground were provided by the Attorney General, Godfred Yeboah Dame.

“The Office of the Attorney-General and Ministry of Justice has not been left out in the drive to boost the physical infrastructure and capacity of institutions of good governance in the country,” Godfred Dame stated.

“Work on the construction of the Law House, proposed new office accommodation for the Office of Attorney-General and Ministry of Justice, a 12-storey edifice consisting of 10 floors above ground and 2 storeys underground, which had been halted for many years since it began over 20 years ago, resumed in earnest in June 2021 at the time that it was about 37% complete,” the AG explained.

“Pursuant to my direct intervention, I am happy to state that the Architectural and Engineering Services Limited (AESL) indicates that the
construction of the Law House will be completed by the end of the year and will be commissioned and put in use by the Office of the Attorney-General,” Godfred Dame made this known when he was speaking at the 42nd Annual General Conference of the Association of Magistrates and Judges of Ghana on September 27, 2023.
