The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has extended Christmas and New Year greetings to Ghanaians, using the occasion to reaffirm its commitment to governance and national development.
In a statement on Wednesday December 24, 2025, and signed by its General Secretary, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the party urged Ghanaians to embrace the spirit of the season, encouraging reflection on “the enduring values of compassion, sacrifice, peace, and gratitude.”
The NDC also noted that the festive period coincides with one year since it was given the mandate to govern the country, describing the responsibility as one it takes seriously.
The party said it remains focused on translating its vision into “tangible improvements in the lives of the people.”
According to the statement, the past year has seen deliberate efforts by the NDC government to rebuild public confidence, stabilize the economy and lay a foundation for sustainable growth, while placing strong emphasis on social protection and accountability.
Looking ahead to the new year, the party reaffirmed its commitment to economic recovery, youth job creation, stronger public institutions and improved living standards. It assured Ghanaians of “responsive, disciplined and results-driven governance” in the year ahead.
The NDC concluded by wishing Ghanaians at home and abroad a peaceful Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
